FERN PLANT BOSTON Growing

We recently re potted this lovely big fern that had quickly outgrown the old pot.

FERN TUBER

Whilst doing so I found some tubers so I'm hoping they will grow new plants😎 - ive put them in another pot grow.

We used our new Rootscape House Plant Blend.

Rootscape Terra Core UKHOUSEPLANT SOIL MIX

Most ferns like moisture, acidic soil and a shady spot.

Misting regularly especially in warmer weather is always recommended.

Usually do well in bright but not direct sun and kept watered well.

Still allow for drainage though , they don't want to be constantly sat in a puddle of water.(around 5%) Worm Castings.

The plant was slightly rootbound in its old white pot so I used a plastic knife to go round the edge and gently ease it out of the old pot. After it was potted up in the new container I trimmed off any brown dead bits  and gave it a good watering.
