Cactex soil conditioner will turn any existing potting soil or compost into a more suitable medium to grow Succulents & Cacti.
Many plants require excellent drainage and aeration in order to thrive. Standard potting soils can allow water to sit around the roots causing rot & disease and are not suited to plants from arid climates.
Simply by adding Cactex to your soil dramatically improves texture allowing water to escape, increased ventilation & better uptake of nutrients. It has beneficial ingredients that help maintain a healthy environment for plant roots.
You can add the amount you want depending on the plants you are growing and even use as a top dressing or bottom drainage layer.
Suggested amount to use 10-60% depending on species grown and user preference. For most dry climate cactus and succulents 30% Cactex produces good results.
Add a little to any growing medium in order to increase root health for all types of houseplants, terrariums and bottle gardens.
